Please follow along while Violet and Graham walk to Spanish school. (Warning: It’s a long way.)
Out the house door…
…then out the front door.
Turn left down the first alley, Calle Guatimozín.
Straight ahead…
ALWAYS WATCH OUT FOR CACA.
Around the corner…
…duck right down Calle Contador (Accountant Street)…
…left at the corner…
…and across Plaza Aliatar (soon to be full of tables and diners).
Cross Calle Pages and turn left down Calle Charca (Pool Street).
Please turn right down Calle Panaderos (Baker Street… actually full of bakers).
This is where my camera battery died and I had to pick up the tour another day… with a less enthused model.
Past Plaza Larga (our main plaza, full of tiny stores, restaurants and our veggie market)…
… and head through Puerta de las Pesas (Door of the Weights).
…and this is where he completely gave up the guise of cheerfulness.
Down Placeta de las Minas (Little Mine Plaza)…
…and down…
…and down Cuesta de Maria de la Meil (Hill of Maria of the Honey).
Turn right on Calle Algibe del Gato (Cat Cistern Street).
And here we are! (Now I bribe them with helado).
Oh that’s so adorable!!
So cool! It seems like a maze!
Great travelogue! Even I could find the place!
No 7/11 along the way?
I love the cobble streets and both of your models!
Loved this picturesque, charming tour and the adorable tour guides 🙂 I’m just a little concerned about all the traffic!
